The EIT Climate-KIC Germany office drives the development of scalable high impact climate change solutions with its programmes and its community of innovative companies, researchers, start-ups and students. Innovation through Circular Economy - Train-the-trainer EIT Climate-KIC, with the support of Laudes Foundation, today announces an initiative to mobilise its community of experts to work with a broad coalition of city leaders, citizen groups and businesses to accelerate efforts to lower embodied carbon in new buildings in two of Europe’s largest urban regeneration projects: Madrid’s Nuevo Norte and Milan’s L’Innesto. Over the last nine years, the EIT Climate-KIC Accelerator Programme has supported early-stage climate positive ventures in 32 locations across Europe along with 33 Climate-KIC partners.

The Programme has supported over 2000 start-ups going through the technological and commercial valley of death helping them to mature into scalable businesses. EIT Climate-KIC is Europe's biggest network for climate-friendly innovations. As part of the regional Innovation Hub in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Vienna is a location of the highly successful EIT Climate-KIC DACH accelerator programme, whose start-ups raised more than 250 million euros in 2017 alone.

Innovation through Circular Economy - Train-the-trainer The Journey is a 4-week full time programme focused on climate action, innovation, systems transformation, and community building.. Since 2010 we have hosted 60 summer schools across Europe, generated over 400 project and business ideas, and built a strong global network of over 3,000 peers. EIT Climate-KIC Accelerator Fast-Track Your Cleantech Business Winterbatch 2020 Accelerator Side Call – a digital KIC-start! Four new Stage 1 teams, part of the DACH Accelerator as Munich Re and ERGO Side Call startups in Winter Batch 2020, came together digitally on October 1st to kick-off the programme.
